Grand Master Young K. Kwon Chief Instructor, Co-founder

Training at Kwon's Black Belt Academy is under the supervision of Grand Masters Y. K. Kwon and Y. H. Kwon. Both Martial Artists hold 8th degree Black Belts and bring more the 70 years of training and experience to their students. Under their direction, Kwon's Black Belt Academy headquarters was established in the Delaware Valley in 1972. Grand Masters Y. H. and Y. K. Kwon are pioneers of traditional Korean Martial Arts in the Philadelphia and San Diego areas and have developed many national and international champions, masters, and instructors. Their long and distinguished career includes numerous awards recognizing a tireless dedication to the Martial Arts. They are founders of the United Martial Arts Federation which certifies and supervises Martial Arts centers throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, California, and Mexico.
